Naturopathic medicine also incorporates the well known western techniques such as taking blood pressure and using diagnostic testing and of course it uses complementary methods such as acid-base values, tongue analysis, pulse measurements and iridology.
Naturopathic medicine looks for the underlying causes of symptoms, rather than suppressing them and the body as a whole is treated. When one lives an unhealthy lifestyle, you are more prone to getting viruses, bacteria and allergies, as the immune system is weakened. Change of lifestyle and following a diet, and intake of herbal remedies or supplements, will help the body get rid of toxins and repair itself to get strong again.
Naturopathic medicine can help with a wide variety of ailments. The duration of treatment depends on your health problems and of course progress.
